Formula DRIFT | Round 4 | Las Vegas Motor Speedway | July 10-11th | Next Weekend!

We used to have a media partnership with Modified Magazine. These were some of the pics. I’m surpised to see AutoRND there, since they are in Cali and this was a Jersey event

I never really thought Ernie Fixmer was that good of a driver and from a thousand miles out of nowhere he crashed into a signal auto car. Is that a challenge? Sure is.

This picture totally reminds of me of Irwindale. The large mountains, the palm trees, the JDM super cars. They had a nice little show at this event.

Imagine the cost to ship over your drift cars from Japan. That’s some serious bank. The orange car had over 600 HP and a huge turbo. He had to gain momentum before it would even spool up. It was pretty crazy.

These drifters from Japan were the bomb. They were hella crazy. They were doing donuts and literally getting about 1 feet away from the crowd. Paris Jackson Almost got taken out filming for us. Pictured in the car was Verena Mai. I’m pretty sure that was her. For an event, this was the most fun I ever had, even until this day.

This was the first big event on the west coast. You’ll see a lot of famous people here like Bai, The owner of signal auto, Ernie Fixmer, Alex Pfeifer etc. I’m pictured with this chick. Even Verana Mai was modeling.

Seeing this picture of Joe brings back memories. I let him live at the SRO shop because he had no where to go. I had a lot of adventures with him, like the time he invited me to strip club and when it came time to pay he forgot his wallet. He was kind of held ransomed until I came back with the money. I gave him $500 to buy some body kits some people ordered and then that was the last time I ever saw him…

The D1 Grand Prix had a nice car show to go along with the drifting event. It was hot as heck that day. Over 10,000 people packed the show and drift event that day

I started watching Option Videos on VHS back in 1995. So I always knew what drifting was and practiced way before a lot of people even knew what the heck it was. So of course when I got a chance to Meet Tsuchiya The Drift King, that was one of the coolest things on earth. This gallery is of the judges and professional drifters. This event was such a blast. It was a 2 day event for me.

Thanks to Grip Video for supplying the pics for this event in Hawaii.
