As a kid I loved to make things out of wood. My wife had just went to the Philippines for a month and I was pretty bored. I decided to take the old 2×4’s I had laying in the garage and make a car simulator out of them. I already had a Logitech steering wheel and I decided to grab one of the rear seats out of my Rav4. They are made to come out so it just fit in perfect. As you can see this little project provided hours of fun!

Later on I added some more 2×4’s in front of the steering wheel so I could put my notebook on it and play games that way too. You can buy other seats from Walmart for pretty cheap but you get what you pay for. The nicest one around is the Sparco Racing Cockpit Pro pictured here:
